Massage and Bodywork Session
This is a full body evaluation and healing session.
The focus of this session is on releasing muscle tension that often restricts joint
mobility and circulation and/or causes discomfort in the horse.
Once the tension is released, the horse will be asked for movement in each joint
in a relaxed state to increase range of motion. I will provide you with possible causes
of the restrictions, but recognize that I am not providing an official diagnosis.
There are often a variety of factors that can influence discomfort within the horse.
Riding Lesson
This includes an evaluation of the horse's movement, your positioning, and exercises that will help you and your horse build a more balanced riding partnership.. One of the goals of any lesson-- private, semi-private, or group-- is to help you integrate effective training techniques that will help your horse develop correct muscling and maintain a relaxed, strong, and healthy horse that excels at their job and enjoys the work they're doing. The second goal is to develop you as a skilled, confident, and knowledgable rider who can comfortably work with any horse and achieve beautiful movements in any riding discipline.
* Note: If you book a massage and bodywork session, the riding lesson must be scheduled on a different day to allow the horse at least 24 hours rest and to avoid massaging a horse that is warm from exercise.
Travel expenses still apply.
